65th Anniversary Gala

IWC Stockholm is turning 65 years old! We want to celebrate with a grand gala while at the same time supporting of our charity this year, Jontefonden. Jontefonden supports children in Sweden waiting for, or having undergone, an organ transplant.

There will be dinner, live performances, a charity auction, and dancing! See below for more program details, which will be updated as we near the event.

Tickets cost 2 500 SEK, with a discount for members. There is also the option to buy an entire table of eight for 25.000 SEK.

Dress code is black tie or traditional national attire.

Program

We are so pleased to announce the program for our Grand Gala!

The evening will begin with mingling and a glass of bubbly, accompanied  by our supremely talented member Christina Grigoryants on the piano, while we are dazzled by magical tricks from Isidor Olsbjörk.

At the right time, we will head up to be seated in Berns' fabulous Ballroom, where we will be welcomed by our Master of Ceremonies, Wivan Nygård-Fagerudd, well-known mezzosoprano, journalist and CEO of the Finland Institute. 

During the evening, a magical performance by Isidor will be flanked by several musical performances. We are very excited to have The Blue Room Collective, a group of twenty, talented young musicians who have arranged a medley of Swedish pop arranged especially for our event.

The glamorous Therése Neaimé will serenade us, and Gift Blessing, a rapper known for his powerfully moving performance as a participant in Talang, will perform a rap written specifically for us. 

Jontefonden will then briefly be presented before our auction begins. The auction will be led by none other than Stockholms Auktionsverk's Head Specialist, well-known auctioneer Knut Knutson. Knut is known throughout Sweden for his long-time role as an expert on the Swedish version of Antiques Roadshow.

The auction contains experiential items such as embassy dinners, a helicopter ride, a portrait painting, and more. 

Finally, after the coffee has been served and dessert consumed, the Blue Room Collective will get us dancing!
