Membership
The International Women’s Club Stockholm is a great way to connect with other international women in Stockholm and surroundings. We offer a lot of activities and events of all kinds, a supportive international community and the opportunity to meet like minded women to foster new friendships. Meet some of our members here.
Your IWC Stockholm membership will include:

If you want to find out more about joining our Club, we warmly suggest that you contact us. We do have eligibility requirements, which you can read about below. Membership applicants should be sponsored by a member and must be approved by the Executive Board.

Complete our application form
Pay the membership fee of 700 SEK to IWC BankGiro 269‐2770 or via Swish 123 006 1747
After receiving and reviewing our application, the Membership Chairperson will then submit your application for consideration to the Executive Board at the next monthly Board meeting.
Once your prospective membership is approved, you will receive your membership card and directory along with your membership confirmation letter. If for some reason we deny your application, we will refund any paid membership fee dues less processing fees charged by the banks.

Eligibility Requirements
Who may become a member?
Foreign Born Women
New membership shall be open to all foreign-born English-speaking women who are not originally of Swedish nationality and who have resided in Stockholm no more than 10 consecutive years prior to their application.
Women who have resided in Sweden for too long a period to be eligible for membership may be admitted under a separate quota.
NOTE! Unfortunately the quota is full at the moment, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list.
Where an applicant has lived in Sweden, moved abroad (for a minimum period of one year) and returned to Sweden before making a membership application, the burden of proof in relation to residency abroad lies with the applicant. Applicants may be required to supply official documentation from the relevant state authorities in the country where the applicant resided before returning to Sweden.
Swedish Women
Women of Swedish nationality who have been living abroad for more than 10 consecutive years and have returned to Sweden no more than 3 years prior to their application will be considered for membership and may be admitted under a separate quota.
NOTE! Unfortunately the quota is full at the moment, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list.
Swedish-born women with full diplomatic status representing another country in Sweden.
